Mark A. Dresnick

Mark Dresnick is the founding member of Dresnick, Rodriguez & Perry, P.A. He is a Florida health care attorney with over twenty years of health law experience. Mark Dresnick represents physicians, hospitals, and other health care providers in investigations, prosecutions, audits, and proceedings involving the Department of Health (DOH), the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), Medicare, Medicaid, and other regulatory agencies. Mr. Dresnick also represents hospitals or physicians for peer review, medical staff credentialing, HIPAA, risk management, guardianships, patient discharge issues, regulatory compliance, and other matters.

Mark Dresnick is frequently invited to lecture on various health law topics which have included the defense of investigations brought by the Department of Health and the Agency for Health Care Administration, peer review proceedings, health care fraud and abuse, and risk management. Mr. Dresnick has given continuing legal education presentations for The Florida Bar, as well as lectures sponsored by medical and dental schools, hospitals, and various professional organizations.

Mark Dresnick is a 1977 Honors Graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, and obtained his undergraduate education at Boston University. He has been practicing law in Florida for over thirty years. He has the distinction of having been recognized by the Florida Supreme Court for outstanding achievement on the Florida Bar Examination. He also is admitted to practice before the United States District Court of the Southern District of Florida.

Mark Dresnick is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Florida Academy of Health Care Attorneys, and a member of the Health Care Law and Administrative Law Sections of The Florida Bar. He was a founding member of the Professional Licensure Defense Lawyers Association, and was a member of a Florida Bar Grievance Committee.

Mr. Dresnick's community activities have included membership on the Dade Civil Rights Committee of the Anti-Defamation League, and the Board of Directors of Shake-A-Leg, Miami, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides recreational activities for persons with disabilities.

Mark Dresnick has been awarded an AV^® rating, the highest rating, in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, and has been selected to be in Martindale-Hubbell’s Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers.^TM He has also been selected for inclusion in "Super Lawyers" for its 2008 and 2009 editions.
